We’re developing a secure chatbot (pretty cool, huh?) that will collect information after an appointment to fully understand a patient’s health care needs and connect them with the right person - all via their phone!We’re thrilled to be featured as one of the finalists in the RWJF Choosing Care Challenge!
Luma Health believes getting healthcare should be simple. The RWJF Choose Care Challenge was designed to find creative solutions that help patients easily find accessible and affordable health care services. So, naturally, we had to take part! We’re creating the pieces to help solve the big health care puzzle. And we’re pretty honored to see our name among several other amazing companies.
After submitting our concept in Phase 1, we were selected along with 4 other companies to move on to Phase 2. Now, we get to bring our idea to life in hopes that we make it into one of the final 3 spots.
So, what’s our (fingers crossed) winning idea?
We know just how easy text messaging makes it for patients to get in contact with their healthcare providers. So, we want to use it to connect patients with a pharmacy, imaging center, or specialist as soon as they step out of an appointment.
It’s healthcare like it should be. Simple and effective.
For now, we’re working hard to meet our next round on June 19. Stay tuned to find out if we make it to the final three!
